Ambassador Mandell discovering the new "Yellow Cab"

On the occasion of Ambassador Mandell's courtesy visit to the Automobile Club of Luxembourg (ACL) on April 24th, Director Daniel Tesch (left on photo) shows The Ambassador the new ecological (hybrid) "Yellow Cab" (spoof of New York City taxis) introduced by ACL for the benefit of its members to try to break the current high taxi fares in Luxembourg maintained by the taxi lobby, as well as make a statement in favor of going "green" with taxi vehicles. The Yellow Cab is available for hire for EUR 25,- to go anywhere in the country within one hour.
The ACL is the largest community non-profit organization in Luxembourg, serving 168,000 members, with 75% of Luxembourg households holding at least one membership.
