Ladies and Gentlemen:
Enclosed is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for construction services. If you would like to submit a proposal, please complete the required portions of the attached document and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 18. Your quotation must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Quotation Enclosed" to the Embassy of the United States of America, Attention: Jonathan S. Fischer, 22, Boulevard Emmanuel Servais, L-2535 Luxembourg. Quotations must be received on or before August 17, 2009, 17:00. No quotations will be accepted after this time.
The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
The U.S. Government intends to arrange for a site visit on August 6, 2009. Prospective offerors should contact Emmanuel Wojcik by telephone at 46 01 23, extension 2254, by fax at 22 00 28, or by email at wojcikej@state.gov, to make appropriate arrangements.
